Last week, I introduced the advertisements on the print newspaper. Today, I will continue the topic of advertisement but it is regarding the advertisement existing on the online newspaper.
At beginning, let’s watch a video about the development of advertisement on the online newspaper, which also reflects the importance of advertisement to the online newspaper.
Through watch the video we can get much useful information to know the advertisement on the online newspaper. It told us that the speed of advertisement’s development on the online newspaper is rapid. From the video it said that according to a release from the Newspaper Association of America, newspaper Web site advertising is up 19.3% for this quarterly.
Then, I want to analysis a big difference between advertisements showed on the print newspaper and online newspaper. The form of advertisement showed on the print newspaper is sole, it means that the advertisement is static. However the form of it showed on the online newspaper can have two ways, which are static or dynamic.
Firstly, let’s talk about the static advertisements showed on the online newspaper. I think they are similar with that showed on the print newspaper, which are some business advertisements of public services advertisement. And they are consisting of some pictures with some words. There are some examples of the advertisement I found.
Then let’s talk about the dynamic ones, I think it is a big break through of advertisements industry. Because they can use some videos matched up some background music or some voiceover to show their ideas which are similar with the advertisement showed on TV. The benefits of them are that it can leave deeper impression on people and let people to know the ideas they want to transfer more directly and clearly.
